EMG is new type of firm only able today to be born during the age of AI. EMG is not just an incubator or an accelerator, we are a platform serving the entrepreneur as its agent.
The creation of EMG is inspired by my experience as a seven time global software and technology entrepreneur and my mentor the legendary investor and philanthropist Warren V. "Pete" Musser. I was blessed the last twenty-five years to be mentored by Pete and to be part of this ecosystem and orbit he built through his company, Safeguard Scientific which helped me build some global leading software companies. My personal entrepreneurship journey of creating seven software companies spanning the Internet, Cloud, SaaS, Big Data, and now AI revolutions would not have been as successful or rewarding had it not been for my ability to rely on Pete’s wisdom and guidance. I also learned along the way that success and failure both leave clues. I saw that there were actual things, real deliverables that had to be executed at every phase of my company's creation, growth, and exit planning.
EMG was born from the idea that I could create a new type of company with the power of AI that could help entrepreneurs' dreams and missions come true by helping them through the lessons I learned, resources I had at my fingertips thanks to what Pete taught me through his illustrious career of investing in over 1,000 companies and giving birth to over a dozen multi-billion dollar businesses. Thankfully, with the dawn of AI I am able to create a company that can do just that for thousands of entrepreneurs around the world. The ability to have this new liquid knowledge, networks of relationships, capital sources, and connections enabled by AI and a proprietary knowledge base at your fingertips is now a reality.
